The Whole Universe and There’s Not Enough Space was my submission for Ludum Dare 42’s 72 hour game jam.
Play as a space ship on the fringe of known space that is short on supplies. Rotate and puzzle together what can fit in your cargo, what gets dumped into space, and what is hooked up to your system, cementing it in place.
Controls: Space Ship
Mouse Cursor: Steer || Mouse Click: Accelerate Forward || SPACE: Open/Close your cargo
Controls: Cargo
Click and Drag: Reposition the cargo || "Q/E" while dragging: Rotate Cargo || "T" while Dragging: Trash the cargo || Right Click: Hook up the cargo in your hull, cementing it in place.

I just now found this despite it being out for over a year, lol. Pretty fun. I liked the tetris mechanic of cargo, though I didn't really understand if I was making good choices with placement or why I wouldn't lock stuff down. It wasn't clear to me if it was important to place pieces of the same color next to each other or not, but I really like the idea of cargo collection/storage mixed with some crazy momentum based driving.
